That's like having a 6.66 with a 4l80. I love the 3.42s actually.

I think the first mod should be a 6.2 longblock or 6.2 pull out.Time and time again folk mod $300-$700 at a time and before they know it they are $5k in.

My 5th gen camaro went 11.91 with 3.27 gears 6L80E, then did 3.91 gears it went 11.67 and 2mph. 4:10s should be good IMO

Need carriers though so you can toss the gov lock in the trash lol. I might do 3.73 in mine if I could swap a Detroit Locker in... But those will never exist so I just forget about it lol.

I know! Sucks! I've been looking for a 3.73 rear from a 5.3 Truck.

Honestly just swap a 9.5" from a regular 5.3 truck in it... The parts from the old 9.5" 14 Bolt work in those and it's not like this stupid 9.76" rear is any stronger in a way worth mentioning... Thank you GM for creating some retard low use rear end no one will ever make parts for.

Don't get me wrong I love my truck but with the vibration and the aftermarket taking so long I probably should've done something different. Since its blown now Ill just make the best of it. Not gonna do major mods though. Ill do that on an earlier model when the time is right and just enjoy this one being a daily. Eventually get the vibration gone and enjoy it even more or just stay either side of 72 mph lol.
