Qwank's 2017 Regular Cab Z71

Thank you! The belt they sent me was a regular old Gates Century Series Micro-V K060938 6PK2385 (94.5 inches). Wow, your belt is MUCH shorter! So what gives? Why did Magnuson use a 94.5" belt for an 84mm pulley? And now they have me using it on a 78mm pulley. I'm going to call Gates tomorrow to figure out what size belt I should buy (something I shouldn't have to do or pay for).
Do you know what boost level you're getting yet?

I was seeing 10psi on my boost gauge on the few WOT runs I did. I'm not sure why the SLP blowers are making more boost. maybe someone on here will now the answer.

Yeah, you're right. I hadn't looked that closely at you engine bay pic. I guess the pulleys and tensioners are in different locations for a 6.2 vs a 5.3 (I don't have a 5.3 to compare my 6.2 to).

One last thing I did before I go in for my tune is change the orifice jet in the bypass valve from SLP's 0.017'' orifice, to a 0.030 orifice. This will allow the bypass valve to close a little bit quicker and build boost a little earlier.

We didn't get to finish the tune because for some reason the PCM is pulling fuel at 4,600 rpm so it was going lean. He said he thinks he figured it out though so I have to go back. I'm going to install a wide band gauge first though.
He did do some pulls up to 4,600 rpm and it did 404/503 and this was before pulling any timing , so there's some good potential there.

the pulleys are all the same on the stock motors, it's just Magnuson and SLP set them up differently.

but the orifices are just nitrous jets, so I went to my locals PepBoys and bought a new one. Looks like you have a Magnacharger, yours might already be a .035'' I probably wouldn't go any bigger.
