Ordered this truck from the dealer I work at towards the end of September and it came in on Monday. 2017 RC Z71. 5.3 flex fuel engine.

Not sure what I plan to do with it yet. I want to lower it and put 22" Z28 replicas on it, but it rides so nice I hate to do anything to the suspension right now.

First thing I need is an exhaust. Not many options for a regular cab. I either want it to dump or have side exit. It's gotta be loud though. Any recommendations?

wow!!! you're going back about ten years at least. What have you been up to? This truck should put down more power stock than mine did modified. haha

I've been around here and there but not a lot since I got rid of my old truck 4 years ago.

I traded it in for a CTS-V, so I'm guessing it got wholesaled off. I was trying to get it back last year and did trace it to that area earlier this year. I put a Craigslist ad up and got a text from the guy's neighbor. He said he would give him my number but I never heard anything back. I finally gave up and ordered a new truck. My old one must be rotted out to nothing by now. If I did get it back I was going to replace the frame. The new truck is not going to be driven in the snow.

On my truck I gutted the third cat, off the y pipe is just a 3" pipe no muffler 90ed out the side I front of the rear tire. It's loud under throttle, quiet at idle and while cruising. No rasp and not even close to being as loud as my old 5.3 with long tubes and no cats. These engines open y pipe are not nearly as loud as my old truck....
