Believe I saw that somewhere too. Or that it just didn't work out well at all. One or the other.

GM accessories offers a new CAI for 2019 up 6.2L that includes dealer installed MAF calibrations and maintains factory warranty. Can’t recall power increase however slightly under 10 on HP and I think slightly over 10 on TQ. GM uses a tube “similar” to MIT in design so I believe the MIT with lower restriction (larger surface area) filter and box would offer similar increases to GM CAI with similar recalibration and more power with performance optimized custom tune using aftermarket software and skilled tuners.

GM CAI and exhaust combo (dealer installed) advertise incremental increases which I “believe” are verified by same SAE process that verifies stock engine output.
