I spent some time behind the wheel of my dads new 014 earlier this week, awesome power over previous 5.3 the cab and chassi is light years ahead of everything out there.Smooth quiet, amazing fuel mileage just watching the read out.I cant believe how much of the time its in 4V.cant sense a thing, even at low speeds its in.

got onto chevy .com and gmc.com,in the pacific NW we are starting to get some 6.2s DD and CCs, all 3,42s and did find one with a max trailering all msrp 50k

Yeah I was meaning driving this new 6.2!! Lance drove daddy's 2014 CCSB 5.3 all day the day after we drove the 6.2 and he said the more he drove the 5.3 the faster the 6.2 felt!! The throttle response on these DI motors are a world of difference between them and my 2011...these 2014 are like a whole different truck. My dad's rides so smooth and I can't get over how quiet it is in the cab going down the road! GM really stepped their game up!

One quick FYI is that the fuel mileage rating of the max trailering one gonzo found was shown as 14/20 rather than the 15/21 which had been mentioned above.

Still impressive though compared to the 12/18 of the old 6.2s.
