Btw how big is the hole actually in the fender??

Its bigger than the original scoop by about a inch but it also has a second 2 inch hole right below it

Did mine too. Started with this.





And ended with this.




That should give all the airflow my 6.2 ever needs. It's funny how they actually downsized the inlet on these airboxes over the gmt900 trucks. My first pic shows it, and the gmt900 box looks how mine did without that plate with the foam attached... Even though the fender had the little hole punched in it the airbox plate with the foam had it blocked off anyway....These are almost as restrictive as the gmt800 airbox's were.
