Finally a breather today so I can comment. Enjoyed the vids guys! I am still very pleased with the 2.9 on my 5.3 6spd. I thought it ran great stock but so much better with the Whipple and canned tune. Only thing I've done is raise the shift points to 5800 iirc and change the part throttle shift mph. I got tired of it shifting at 3500-4000 with medium throttle. I changed it to shift early even at 40-50% throttle and improved the mileage and acceleration considerably because it doesn't hang in the lower gears forever now. Even loaded with my AC tools and parts in the bed weighing 5900-6k any given day I have no complaints except one. The throttle is so damn touchy with this blower I have to roll into it at every stoplight or it busts the tires loose LOL. Life with a Whipple is good!!!
Thanks for the review that is very helpful, I like the canned tuned idea for starters with the whipple. I do have a couple very good tuners here by me if I have to go that route.
Well here is what I did today...And being I can't leave well enough alone I cleaned up the hideous ports on the Stock TVS1900 manifold. softened the short side radius and blended the port where they CNC the opening. I doubt it makes anymore power but It has to be way more efficient. BTW the cooling Brick is on the small side at 15"x 5"x 2" and here are some pics for those that have never seen the inside of a Blower before

Its cool man as long as you get it where you want it.Good job on the reporting
TTT looking for more action here.come on boosted folks.
Other past trucks got a 2" or 1.5" level in the front. This truck I felt was close enough just leave it alone. Then the other night I thought 1" will do it ....just.... right....Here is it. My old wheels and tires will go on soon for deer season. We go over some nasty rocks at times,so dont want to hurt the OE tires
Pic of the old tires/wheels
