yes at idle the procharger whine is audible, and the D1 has more room to grow than the P1 and for $200 I'd do it but that's just me.

 

I would go D1 as well. The whine/whistle at idle is also surprisingly loud. Under load it actually seems quieter. My magnacharger for instance is nearly silent at idle but under load its loud.

 

Chuck Anders - Houston House of Power owner, just put a D1 on his 2014. Already has cam and full exhaust though.

 

I'd go with the whipple. They seem to produce more power according to their dyno sheets. It's avail in a 2.9. I think you get the Maggie in 1.9 and 2.3. I'm simply going by dyno sheets and advertisement.

I do have a Maggie 2.3 with a setup with cam, ported heads, etc. Personally I like to hear the whine just a little, but it's hard to hear over long tubes and basically no exhaust.

Will you do the install or someone close around Thomasville?

 

I will install it myself. And I'm still not 100% sure yet. But going to make a decision real soon.
