Default 4x4 or 2wd for a superchargerd performance Truck

I cand decide 2wd or 4x4 for my build 2014-2018 rcsb Silverado

4x4 plus is all wheel launching
2wd plus lower suspension and more power direct to rear wheels, and less moving components to fail. Will install truetrac diff.

What would you guys do ? 4x4 or 2wd?

I launch mine in 4x4, it would never get traction in 2 wheel with the torque of the PD blower and the boost I'm running.

Do you have any YouTube videos of your truck we can see?

No, I have a couple crappy videos from the stands that's about it. It tracks straight, no crazy stuffs happens just a little torque steer out of the hole.

If I buy a 2wd truck, it will have 26+ inches of suspension travel front and rear

trucks are 4wd. Build a car if you want 2wd imo

im so anti 2wd even my van is 4wd 😂

I appreciate your response. I'm thinking the same thing.

You can always lower the 4x4 trucks slightly without too much trouble if you are into that kinda of thing. Then you could be close to 2wd height or a little lower depending on what you do.

I much rather have the 4x4 with a power adder, the extra traction is well worth it.

I do like the lowered looks. Some of those slammed trucks are amazing. 4x4s can do a 4/7 drop still which is a nice stance and put some air bag assisters when needing to tow.

I kill hi performance cars all the time that can easily out mph me even in the 1/8. Camaro SS, Late model Mustang Gt, C6 Vette because they can't hook. If I was 2wd I couldn't do that although when loaded to 6k lbs in 2wd it's not terrible. Tried a C6 Z the other day from a 20 roll in 2wd and half loaded. I jumped out way ahead at 1st (twice) but he blew past me quickly lol. Beautiful black car. From a 50 roll though a 2wd truck is just fine unless you're making a ton of power or suspension won't hook. Remember, trucks have 60+ % of the weight in front.
