There's pretty much a 100% guarantee you have leaks if you're using the shitty clamps that come with the speed engineering kit.
This is a battle I fought for months.
My last iteration of the solution was the wide flat band clamps you can find at oreilly. You'll know the ones because they aren't round when you buy them. They are actually laid out flat in a package. These particular ones have a little bit softer metal that somewhat forms to the shape of the pipe and helps sealing. Mixed with the foil they do a good job.

Also, the y pipe slip fit is horrible. Weld that no matter what, you never need that to come apart.
I welded my Y pipe slip fit and the ball socket connection (mostly because I didn't have the clamp so I had to)
I put foil on the headers to the y pipe, and I also bought a 3.5" clamp and put foil and a clamp on the y pipe adapter pipe that is slip fit.
I feel your pain on this one, I went through this crap for months with these headers and exhaust getting it all just right.
I ended up with all the above, the magnaflow muffler, and a cut off resonator. Same as jonblarc7
Oh i forgot, if you still have the stock muffler, and you're using the stock flapper valve too. You're leaving a ton of power on the table. When I had the stock muffler I did not have the flapper valve I immediately had it cut out because they are so restrictive.
The flapper will be adding to your noise and leaks, because it's backing up the exhaust flow.

Forgot to add, I picked up a little MPG when I switched to stock muffler out for a magnaflow. (on this current 6.2 catback headers setup)
I saw in increase in MPG when the truck was all stock and I had a magnaflow welded in the stock exhaust back then too. (that was when it had stock manifolds and 5.3 catback)

Great info @00pooterSS and the Avatar you chose makes me happy and smile each time I see it. Good looking truck too. For real though, thanks for the info. I will be cleaning mine up more soon and following your advice.

With the visuals as well lol.
Thanks for the compliment man. This truck has been a bit of a struggle, I got it for about 15k under value and had to put a lot into it to make it what it is today so I always love when it gets complimented.

Mine leak real bad at the slip joints too. So I had a exhaust shop weld up my Y pipe and put a 3" three bolt flang where the slip joint are. Now I can service it and it doesn't leak. It cost right around 100 bucks
