2014 transmission issues

DD is a pain in the but.
I've kinda figured some of it out, but it still seems to have a mind of its own some times.
It takes a lot of logging, and trial and error to get it to drive how you want it.
There's a fine line for acceleration and economy on the DD table.
At low speeds you can have higher numbers in the left cells all of the way down the throttle position range and taper off as the speed increases toward the center of the speed range and then taper the values back up as speed increases so there's not a dead spot in your throttle at cruise. But if the taper off is too long, or into the higher speeds from the low speed to the center of the speed range, you lose economy at cruise.
In the cells at higher throttle positions, you have a lot more room to play around with, but you still need to follow the taper method so the TC cycle and gear changes aren't as violent as putting in a high value across the speed range.
That's where a lot of logging and trial and error comes in.
I'm still learning and trying to figure this out, but as I figure things out, I'll post them.
