Default 2014 RCSB trutrac & 4.10s Questions

I got my gears and trutrac done on my truck not too long ago. Not long after that my check engine light came on. Checked what codes it threw and it was p2160 "Vehicle Soeed Sensor B Low Input".
I asked a buddy of mine that works at a Chevy dealership if he had any suggestions as to where to start and he said the code says it's the speed sensor in the transfer case....thing is my truck is 2wd. The only speed sensors on the truck are on each wheel.

So I was wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem?
How was it solved?
Or do you guys have any idea which sensor is "Speed Sensor B"

If i could I would replace all the sensors but budget is somewhat tight so I'm trying to make that last resort.

Might be a dumb question but did you calibrate for the gears in the tune? I did a true trac and 73's, but did not get a code.

First off, thank for replying.

And from what I know, it should have been accounted for in the tune. I let my tuner know everything that was done to the truck prior to him getting it on the rollers. I also asked him about it after but he said it was probably a sensor that might have got damaged at one point or another.

Should have and did are 2 different things.

I believe the delta between what the speed sensor sees and what is on the speedo is like 13-15% difference allowed before a code will pop.

Have the tune checked.

You should be able to calibrate in your tune to adjust

Thanks for the reply, my tuner is going to be back in 2 weeks so I'm gonna have him take a look at it.

But I'm also gonna get my transmission checked because I feel like something is wrong there as well. I'm hearing a high pitched whine as the rpm is rising and it feels rougher during shifts.

Just wanted to touch base on this. Was your tuner able to fix your issues?

It honestly didn’t get to make it back. Tore the transmission up before he got to look at it. Got a new transmission put in there and same issue is coming up. Speed sensor B (which from my understanding is the speed sensors in the transmission) low voltage. So since it’s happened in 2 separate transmissions, I think there might be a possible short or loose wire somewhere. The truck is parked at the moment until I can get someone to run through the possible electrical issues. If that doesn’t fix the problem then it’ll go to the tuner to see if it’s a tune issue.
