Default 2014 RCSB Engine Swap

So just thinking out loud.

If I had an L86 6.2L crate engine, this should swap into an RCSB with little problem, right? Different y-pipe & tune is all I'm thinking is necessary. (Given a competely stock truck)

Am I missing anything?

TCM wouldn't have anything to do with it, neither would ECM probably

The 2014/2015 Silverado for both the 5.3 & 6.2 share the same ECM, E92. I wouldn't be switching transmissions so the TCM shouldn't matter? I'm pretty sure it is the exactly the same TCM is for both the 5.3 & 6.2.

The C7 LT1 uses the same ECM, too.

Bigger question is... Do you have a 6.2!?!?

The LT1 crate engine isn't much more than a supercharger kit.

Maybe try calling Schwartz Performance, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering or Texas Speed. They might have info about the new LT1 crate engine and the options of swapping one in a new truck. I believe Texas Speed and Lingenfelter are working on performance part for those engines.
