Default 17 Silverado 5.3 ProCharger 0-134 video

Been wanting to make a top end video of my truck with the ProCharger. Trying to fight that wall of air the truck is pushing is a constant battle. No vibrations or issues. They do a 1/2 mile race at one of the airports near me. If I can find a set of tires for it I might give it a try next year.

NA e85 tune only for a comparison. Keep in mind the truck ran 13.96 and consistent 14.10s with this tune.

very cool comparison. I was stuck watching the coolant temp going up.

These engine bays are so hot, like much much more than my 09 was. Do you know of anyone doing a lower temp coolant thermostat?

Funny you mention that because after making this video I noticed that as well. I was going to look to see if they have a 180 thermostat for our trucks. When I made the first 0-130 video I thought it was the active grill shutters causing it. Those were removed when I put on the ProCharger kit. The temp seems to go up in the same spot in both videos.

What did you do to remove the active grill shutters? Did you remove the whole thing and put the motor back in with stops to keep the CEL off?

I just put a 180 thermostat in the other week in my truck and rarely see any temps over 195 on the hottest days.

I will post the picture of how ProCharger has you mount the motor. The only way to not get a CEL is to have the trouble code disabled in the tune. Good to know about the thermostat. What brand did you go with and do you have a part number?

Awesome thanks. I know they close if the coolant is under a certain temp and close when you are over 60mph from what I read.

No biggie. I did notice my coolant temp under normal driving with them removed went down.
