Angry weird sounds from my 2012 rcsb

i bought a 2012 rcsb today when i put the truck in reverse and turn completely *left or right*.. it makes a weird knocking sound coming from under the truck but sounds like its more towards the rear.. diff area , any ideas? it drives fine and everything but the sound is pretty irritating especially for a 2012 truck out of the showroom floor!

thanks guys

Mine does this too ever since I got 18" wheels put on. Really loud "KRNRKNRKRNKNR" I think it's the wheels rubbing something, but mine doesn't sound like it's from the rear.

Yeah Gh0st, your new wheel offset or tire size is causing your front tires to scrub the fender liner. OP, did you get your ride checked out?

Are you just up against the steering stops on the front knuckles? They make some ugly noises. A little grease on the stops helps a ton.

just got the truck back from the dealer.. same problem i told them i will not take it back until it is fixed, man that sucks, anyways the sound happens when i reverse and turn completely right or left more like a clunking sound seem to me that there's something wrong with the differential

To date mine does the same thing I had it checked out by different dealers and they all told me it was the g80. Never had problems with it and I'm on 67k miles. Bought the truck with 3 miles on it. 08CCSB
