Default Unhappy 6l80 drivability??

Ive got the 6.2 6spd combo and it shifts great at WOT but normal driving is a whole other story. It seems to shift way too soon causing it to, what seems to be almost lugging and it jerks back and forth like a manual trans would in too high of a gear.
Anyone else experiencing this??

You need a tune. It goes to top gear asap to try to save fuel.

yeah the 2 days i have driven mine it seems to shift out of first early if accelerating slowly. then causes it to sort of lug in 2nd gear while the rpms are coming back up.

thats how mine is at the track it runs great i love how it feels at the track but I hate normal driving. Like when im on my way home going through the speed bumps its like it doesnt know what gear it wants to be in. it also seems to flair alot too idk i think its in the tune but who knows....

I guess I'm just too easy to please after driving my '99 5.3 4L60 for so long before getting my new '11. It never seems to lug in any gear. If I'm just holding a constant speed it'll sit in the highest gear possible, but if I give it any throttle at all it's pretty quick to downshift a gear or two. Maybe they changed something in the trans tune partway through the year? Mine was built in March.

I still want a tune, though, and I spend a lot of time reading comments about some of the sponsors here. Keep 'em coming!

they are but once you have them set they are very nice

My is driving like a dream right now, good crisp part throttle shifts not being real harsh and WOT shifts just put a smile on your face

HP Tuners FTW
