hello i have a 2008 silverado when pulling my transmission the upper cooler line will not come out i took the clip off both and the bottom came right out but the top wont budge anyone ever have this issue?

 

Yes...I had the same trouble with mine when I was removing my trans for a rebuild. My solution was to lower the trans just enough to get a better grip on the line to wiggle it around. hope that helps and good luck. Oh BTW it was also on a 2008!

 

i have the trans completely out i had to unscrew the fitting im not sure the line wont come out the fitting

 

Hit it with some pb blaster. Might help.

 

I second removing the fitting. It would be best to replace it at that age anyways. They are cheap.
