A fresh stock 4L80e with a shift kit will do 500hp all day everyday.

Yea no reason to get something built when the 80e will handle it no problem.

Stay Far away From Monster Transmission. All you have to do is google them. They spam every site trying to put up false reviews.

Do the 80e swap.

Yea, it's a little money upfront but the piece of mind is worth more.

I had a similar issue with my 60e and kept pulling it to replace 3-4 clutches every couple of months. That **** gets old, quick.

I had a stock rebuild 80e (plus internal dual-feed mod) put in Feb and all I have done since then is drive it and check the fluid.

And I've driven the **** out of it. I will say with the 80e, any playing around you do, it is suggested to keep it in D3.

What’s needed for the 80e swap does it bolt and wire right up?
