Default TPMS sensors from an 05 work in an 08?

Have a set of wheels off a 2005 silverado, and looking to put them on a 2008 sierra. GM lists 2 different part #'s. Looks like they changed from a bolt on style to a regular old pull through but with the sensor mounted behind it. Didn't know if the sensor itself may still be the same and work for both trucks? Hope someone can tell me because i really don't want to buy another set if i don't have to.

Thanks guys. Just got to work and got the search function to work (wouldn't work at home for some reason) and found some older threads on the subject. It sucks, but at least they were alot cheaper than i expected them to be.
