Default Steerling wheel question

I was wondering if anyone knows the answer or has seen this done. When i bought my truck i had a buick Lucerne as a loaner while they were installing my accessories. I noticed it's steering wheel was identical to mine, had all the same controls n such but had a nice wooden wheel. It wasn't cheap looking at all and looked better than the denali one.

I was hoping the parts dept could help but they were dumber than baby hughie. I would like to buy the steering wheel and swap it out with mine if it's a true direct fit. Some might cringe at the wooden wheel part but i like it.

Also do they make a Denali cap for the airbag to replace the GMC or would i have to buy the whole airbag?

Thanks guys.

Go rent that Buick again and swap wheels!

All GM wheels should physically bolt up, not sure about the controls but i know on the NBS stuff that stuff all swaps around.

I always thought the truck steering columns had a larger shaft than the car columns and the wheels would not swap. Maybe the Buick Enclave SUV wheel would work. It looks identical to the truck wheel.

2010 Buick Enclave Steering wheels with "Deluxe Package RPO N30"
20760258-Ebony
25961520-Titanium
25961521-Cocoa

Also do they make a Denali cap for the airbag to replace the GMC or would i have to buy the whole airbag?
Whole air bag from GM but you might find something different in the aftermarket.

Pretty sure the caps in the center of the wheels are just glued in, so you could pull out one and glue in the other.

Just swap the airbag/wheel center from the old steering wheel to the new one. You have to take it off to access the center shaft nut when you swap the wheel assembly anyways.

The new steering wheel wont come with the air bag module and you wouldnt want to buy a new on just for the center emblem, way too much moneys. But the factory module would swap over to the new wheel.

Yeah, I didnt say the new wheel had a new airbag assembly. I just stated that the old airbag will swap over to the new wheel
