Default Silverado OBX 6.2L 1 3/4" LT Catted Header Install

I installed the OBX catted 6.2 headers last week with the Diablew tune. Figured I would post some info on it. Under $700 shipped. The only issues thus far was some bolts worked lose. The Y pipe back by the tranny is a little close to the crossbar, but other than that, the fitment is pretty good. Sounds pretty good with the stock catback. They are tarnishing right away, but what can I expect for plain stainless and the price.... If they don't start cracking apart, think I'll be a happy camper...

Muffler is also stock. I didn't change anything from the Y-pipe back. I'll have to try and get some WOT videos.

It's 4X4.

Here is the information where I got them. This was the best price I could find.

OBX S.S. Headers 07-Up & 06 (New Body Style) Chevrolet/GMC 1500 Truck & SUV 6.2L (With Cats) - Sparktec Motorsports[/url] You can ask them if they have any discounts going on and they will give you a coupon code for an extra $10 off.

I did not use the band clamps that came with the headers, I ordered the stainless ones from summit.

OK. Did a quick WOT this morning when I went for some gas. Not alot there, I was in traffic . But enough to check the sound of the OBX LT's.

How much of an increase in cab noise did you notice? Was the performance gain noticeable?

There is no cab noise from the headers. The only increase in noise is in the exhaust from the back. There is a noticeable difference. Not huge, but what would be expected for this budget.

i have the same truck. 2010 ccsb silverado 4x4 nht package.

Did you have to tune out the O2 sensors? Any codes? or is this a direct bolt in with no issues.

Im debating getting a setup like this.
For under $700, it seems worth it.
