Battery on the fob might be bad.

I have a friend with an Avalanche with the same problem. He says his mechanic tells him its a faulty "body module"??

it shouldn't take 2 days to do anything. If that is how long they said, find a new dealership.

I dont think it would take more than an hour or 2 tops. They'll likely try a new fob first and see if it does it. then go from there.

Word, they will just hook your **** up to the computer, run some test. Either make it work, or program a new key fob like he said.
