I had one of my sales guys call the stealership yesterday to get those NBS 2wd u bolts (PN 15002781) and the parts guy said not a valid number.

Just to verify, i just need the ubolts from a 99-06 halfton 2wd for a factory appearance after block removal? Regardless what the number is, I will get it figured out.

So instead of having one of my monkeys call, I called the parts dept. They gave me three numbers :
11589202
11518875
15734233

I used a 2004 1/2 ton 2wd as the vehicle. They didnt have any on their shelves, so i can not verify size of any of them.

Any body actually work at a stealership in the service/parts that can verify which one is correct?

I could use Ubolts off my shelf, but i want it to look factory.

i just googled PN 15002781 and it brings up several forums and what not about them.. only thing i can think of is maybe it got updated to a new number..

74 ft lbs is what my Haynes manual told me to use.

I just pulled my rear blocks this afternoon. I re-used the original Ubolts, I just added 3 9/16 flat washers per nut (so total of 24). 3 washers each was probably overkill, but i wanted to make sure i didnt run out of thread. Dropped it 1 1/4 in the rear. Sits way better now. Now i need to paint my rear wheel wells black. Since my truck is white, the white bed sides exaggerate the fender to tire gap.

Gm sells some really nice plastic rear liners around $100.
Just seen them in person last week and now they will be on my truck very soon.
