Its really funny...some guys are level with this, some not,you had to use shims...its like all the trucks have something thats a little different. Wonder if it depends on where they were made.

I'll likely go with pulling the blocks, shackles and springs out back and spindles and coil relocators up front....likely from Tim at suspension online, unless I can find a deal out there.

Anyone know if re-arcing the stock rear springs would screw up the ride? I can get this done cheap...I have a buddy with a spring shop.

I need some updated pics but this will show you the rake even with 2" shackles and blocks removed.

I was just thinking about you Lil' Mule. I have the pics still from this mod.

2WD should be the same Ubolts as 4WD... Unless the non-Z71 2WD's don't come with lift blocks...

My truck didn't really get much difference at first, then it seems to "settle"
Though, the 6 sand backs and pair of wheels/tires in the back give it a little cali-lean now...

It did however, lose a touch of body roll in corners, and seemed to hug the road a little better, as well as launch a touch better... That might be in my head, though, lol.

The NNBS all have a 1" lift block in the back 2wd and 4wd..
You can just use washers to take up space on the longer U bolts
After you remove the blocks.. I used 2wd U bolts from the older body
Style (01-06) just to keep things simple and clean looking .. The part number I posted earlier will work for 07 and newer ...

Yeah when i did mine on Monday i was looking for a way to put the lift block on top of the springs so i wouldn't have to store it and not have to tighten up the 4 bolts an extra 1" per bolt.

My truck is lower in the back now but i'm thinking i may have over tightened the ubolts. Anyone happen to know the torque on them? 53ftlb??
