Default Rear block removal

Has anybody leveled there truck by removing the block beneath the springs on the rear axle. If you have and have any pics I would like to see how much of a difference it makes.

I needed a few washers so the threads didn't bottom out on the u-bolts.

The red single cab has the rear lift blocks removed and has the drop shackles, and the white truck has just the rear lift blocks removed as does my truck.

Cant tell due to the slope of the driveway, Does the red truck sit level with the 3" rear drop or is the front a touch higher. I want to do this to my truck, actually I want to get a 2/4 or 3/5 drop, But this would look good for now while I am trying to gather cash and parts.

I also have a Z71 and don't know if it makes a difference....I guess I could just measure all 4 fenders to see what the height difference is...
