went and measured a 2500. Leveled out the gap from center of the hub to top of wheel well has to be 27" . My truck leved sits at 24" up front and 24.5" out back.

The new question would be... With that 3" lift could i use my spacers along with it and substitute a 3" block out back. That would make the total lift a 5/3 bringing my hub to fender height to 27"s. Can that be done safely since the kit drops the diff down? Id rather not go with a 3" body lift

Ok I will give the specs on my truck. 08 quad cab gmc 4x4. Fabtech 7 inch lift with 35x13.50x18 with 18x9 kmc wheels. My truck measures front fender at 46.5 and rear fender at 45.5. I could easily run 36's with a 12.50 tire. If I put on a body lift 3 inches I coud run 38-40 depending. However their are companies out their that make bigger lift for these trucks. The fender narrowness makes things rub, I did see a prerunner type setup in mexico where it replaced the front bumper and front fenders and they were running 7 inch lift with 40 inch tires. It looked like a complete custom job. If I didn't drive my truck all the time I would have put either a Bulletproof or 3rd coast suspension lifts and ran 40x15.50x20 tires

Go for the body lift.

Heres mine now, with level kit and BDS body lift.

Centerlines FTW
