Default on new intake from vara

Has anyone tried the new ram air system from vara? Just woundering if its worth all the 400+ dollars. If so post with some results.

that's way too much. just get a airraid replacement tube and a trueflow filter. for like 150$ and use the other 250 and put it towards a PCM tune.

I know a guy that spent $500 plus on one and bragged about it to everyone on how great it was. I think he was just trying to justify paying that much for it. Well, he talked it up until he sold it, still saying it was the best and he was trading his truck is the reason for the sale.The truth is he sold it and bought a much cheaper one that works just as good, an AEM brute force. IMO, they are overpriced.

One of my friends has it on his 07 sierra he says it works good, in my opinion probably only as good as any other. I don't like the way it looks. It fits real good but it just looks like it's worth 4 dollars instead of 400. I have the AEM brute force and that looks and works just as good as any other intake you can buy. truth is you're not going to get much difference in performance from intakes they will all pretty much give you the same. good luck on the project

Volant is a great product. I would go with the power core filter if you can.
