Default P0496, Evap purge valve stuck?

Gotta love shady second hand dealers...

I called them up and they said they will take care of it since im still in that 15day 500mile window but Juuuuuussst incase they try to **** me i wanna see if my hunch is correct...

Symptoms are, CEL and after filling up the tank it kinda dosent like to start... but it does.

Code is P0496, unwanted vacuum or something, forgot where i put the slip.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Also if they dont follow through does changing the purge valve look like the right course of action? If so whats the best way to change that out... have no desire to take the bed off...

Lastly, when i get my tune done, is it possible to completely tune out the stupid evap system?

Thanks!

Yeah thought i saw somewhere to get to the one near the tank that is was on top and required a bed pull to reach lol...

The on on the intake, circular plug looking thing kinda in the middle/back behind that electrical connector item or is it the electrical connector looking thing? First mentioned item has was looks to be a vacuum line going to it.

**Edit**Doh was looking on top of the manifold *idiot*

Found it, little canister sitting off to the side with the green ****...

So, i dicked around with the purge and pushed a slightly back off line back on reseated the connector checked the rest of my lines to make sure they are nice and tight and could not for the life of me get the code to throw again...

I even went and did a fill up to see if it would stutter or anything trying to start and nothing...

If this code comes back in a week i'm gonna be piiiiiissssed....
