What kind of shaft do you have? I just spoke to a local shop and I was told that my only option is a steel 2 piece. He said that because of the lenght of the crew cab drive shaft an aluminum one cannot be made.

Remember I am AWD. I think it is shorter. The only clues that give it away are huge welds, not stock looking. It is also marked "CSIPDC" or "CISPDC", something like that. I looked it up online and can't find it. It is Alum.

He was saying the longest he would do was 72" plus the yokes. He did not specify the diam. as I assumed it was 5" like the stock drivershaft. Not sure the exact length needed but I believe it is somewhere over 80+".

Damn 80"? No wonder there are vibration issues... Either way 2-Piece steel is a proven setup, and will probably be cheaper than aluminum.

I just did an actual measurement. The full length of the driveshaft from yoke to yoke is 86".

Well the truck is in the shop. It should be done by Saturday. I had a baseline done before the install to see what type of gains I am going to get. Here are my baseline numbers with a k&n intake, flowmaster muffler, and blackbear tune.

Looks like yet another stock 6.2 dynos 312rwhp. Our drivetrain's must rob a ton of hp.
