Default Options for turn signal bulbs???

Hey guys... i've just finished clearing my headlights, installing hid's, and the 6-hi mod on my gmc. i'm wanting to get rid of the factory "orange" bulbs and i was wondering what everyone else is running and what all my options were for the turn signals. so far i have gathered that my options consist of the bluish silverstars, the chrome painted factory bulbs, or some sort of led. i'm not real crazy about the switchbacks and i prefer not to have to install load resistors. are there any led's out there that i can just plug and play and are there any other options that i haven't listed? also would like to stay in a reasonable price range ($50ish for all four).
thanks,
brent

Haha it's usually not that way lol there's just most guys I've seen do the 92 led turn signals but I've only seen a couple guys with the switchbacks. IMO it looks great! It's what I plan on doing to mine

i may just bite the bullet and get the switchbacks. do i need load resistors with the switchbacks as well as the regular led signals?

Um idk bout the resisters.. In my brothers truck with LEDs we just put in a led compatible flasher and it's all good. The switchbacks are LEDs. When you have them just turned on they're white and when you turn on your flashers or turnsignal they turn to amber LEDs. Heres a link..

Any LED bulb as a signal light needs resistors on our trucks. GMT900 don't use a flasher relay so adding high-wattage resistors is the only way.

Thanks Preston for the info, I wasn't sure about that. I haven't swapped to LEDs anywhere yet.

I have LED bulbs everywhere and have wiring diagrams if you need them for wiring the resistors.
