my trucks not a NHT but it has everything you listed except for 3.73..

i have the 6.2L
i have the 9.5 rear end with G80 locker
i have 4 wheel disc brakes
i have a trans cooler
i dont know about the suspension but from what i can see the only real difference is the gear ratio

I believe you're right about the gear ratio being the only difference; however, that single difference bumps up the towing capacity by half a ton. I like it because it keeps my truck in the sweet spot despite the taller tires; I don't even notice the extra rubber when I'm driving around.

I was wondering the samething, about coolers and all. I do like the 3.73 gears, though. It's go a little more zip than Mom's Esky with 3.42's. This truck should be in the movies...........

P.S. I've been mulling thru the RPO's and I knew the truck had Traction Contol, but it also specifies that JL4 has stabilitrak, what exactly does that include and do...........

Stabilitrak is stability control, designed to keep vehicles manageable for the average idiot. I turned off the traction control today and did a burnout (in sand) with Stabilitrak still engaged; once I started to kick the tail out, the system engaged the brakes in such a way as to prevent me from getting sideways. To play, hold down the Traction Control button, which is located to the right of the cigar lighter/outlet. You will see a message on your display indicating that the Traction Control has been turned off. Keep the button depressed until the display informs you that Stabilitrak has been disengaged. Once I disbled both systems, I was able to do everything I wanted with no (noticeable) interference. I was sliding my truck all over the desert like a total hooligan; it was great However, some guys on here have been saying that they had to pull the ABS fuse to remove all TC/Stabilitrak nannies.

Ahhh- keep holding the button down to turn everything off. I've pressed the bottun briefly and it says traction control off. Just went out and held it for a few more seconds it then said Stabilitrak is now off, thi sis cool as hell, maybe I can do some burnouts after all now............

I've got a $1200 set of rubber wrapped around my wheels, so no smoky burnouts for me I have been able to go play out in the sand though
