Default My stock 07 Vmax 1/4 time

Went to the open T&T last night and ran the truck for the hell of it. 07 CCSB VMAX with stock 17's. 15.99@87mph with a 2.49 60ft time. Not bad IMO for a 5850# truck. Only mods done are a K&N CAI and Magnaflow cat back. NO tuning either.

that seems a little high. Should be low low 15s. I ran a 14.6 with intake and tune (could have got lower but only got 2 runs). Dont think the tune will bump down 1.5 sec. But who knows....i dont know the track conditions or anything.

don't know how the elevation or weather was like but that's pretty weak.
is it 2wd or 4wd? for reference my stock CCSB 5.3 Z71 went 16.19@87 in the middle of summer.

get it tuned and bring it back to the track!

Yep, Gateway last night. Saw a few other fullsize in the lanes but didn't see what they ran. Pretty much I was just helping a friend with a Nova and figured I'd take a lap down the track myself.

The truck is 4wd with 3.73 gears and I'm not bragging about its performance. Thought I recall a magazine test showing high 15's for a similar truck?

I went to Gateway 1 time earlier this year, had a good time, but the wait lines were huge (like 45 minutes). And I was the only GM truck there. Only like 3 trucks total. There isn't much of a truck scene in this area I gather.
