Default LT headers with lift

Just wondering if anybody has had any experience putting on LT's with a lift kit. My main concern is the cross member support bars. Currrently with the stock y the support bars are damn near rubbing against each side of the y. I purchased some ARH and I have a bad feeling that thos effing bars will be right in the way. Anyhow, thanks for the help.

you should have plenty of room, they fit better than the stock y-pipe. hang down a little further to. Hey how is the 3000 stall and transgo kit workin in your truck? is it something i should look into? what kind of difference did it make?

The tranny build and converter was a great mod. You can try to tune the throttle lag out of these things, but a stall really helps and is fun as **** to drive around. The next time I tear the tranny up I am going to go with a 2600 and tighten it up a tad.

I just got done putting ARH LT's on my lifted 4X4. This is a job that is best done in a shop with a lift and a hoist. Everything fits great. The only issue I had was with the damn cross member support bars for the lift. The drivers side bar needed to be about two inches lower in the rear for the cat to clear. I welded new bracket mounts on the bottom of the cross member and that gave me plenty of clearance. I will post pics later but I just wanted to give people with lifted gmt900's a little warning. Do not hesitate to buy em if you have access to steel and a welder. They freakin make my truck scream when I get on it.

yep i have had the biggest grin on my face ever since i got mine. I can clearly hear my exhaust over my full system, and my highs are loud! They give that 6.0 a true american horsepower sound. trust me you will be grinning.
