hmmm, good to know. i think the ls9 would be a better bang for the buck option versus the ls7. front cover, gear, plug in play. rather than changing push rods, going through checking them and setting preload. im a huge fan of simplicity

Why would this be a better bang for the buck than the LS7 cam? I thought the LS7 cam would only require the same changes and work just fine. I ask this because based on these awesome results I was going to get the LS7 cam because the duration is a little larger and LSA angle a bit more narrow. (hopefully moving the torque band down in rpm's slightly)

Uhhh, well I just answered my own question. The zo6 cam is $350 vs Zr1 cam $130

He said he used LS3 springs,its confusing,seems the LS3 has 2 different sets,1 for auto trans (DOD?&VVT?) then a set a valve spring for manual trans,correct P/N would be great

ls3 manual. or get the ls9 springs. i prefer to match parts, but thats just me

the ls7 cam has a smaller base circle which will require longer push rods to get the valve train back in check.
