(hopefully moving the torque band down in rpm's slightly)
Duration is the same between the 9 and 7 cams.

hey just wanted to check in and see how that cam is treating you OrangeChevyII or if anyone else has tried this?? I'm really thinking about doing it soon! best bang for buck for a daily driver i figure.

also wondering if the 2011 L9H has "VVT" or anything that will get in my way?

L9H is the VVT version of the L92.

Why not get a VVT cam?

sure, i just didnt know if it was vvt or not plus this setup is cheap. what do you suggest? i have a blackbear tune already and custom catback. gonna get obx LT's, M.I.T, a cam and then retune. 400rwhp is plenty for me. also, i want more low-mid torque. might do some small camper/trailer hauling and rubber burning already got the 3.73 towing package

Is L9H the code for the LS9 cam? I thought LS9 is VVT and that the VVT was a contributor for the OP's 100hp increase above 5200rpm. I'm researching cams and would like to get my facts straight. It seems like the VVT technology is a move in the right direction for power & fuel mileage.

I talked to Competition Cams and they have a couple offerings in VVT, any info will be appreciated.

Thanks !
