Default LS7 MAF swap BIGGGGGG improvement!!!!

WOW is all I can say.... Im quite blown away at just how much faster my L92 EPS cam swap is with the LS7 MAF card swap on a true 4" intake pipe. I was previously running the stock L92 MAF through 4" pipe and a big cone K&N. I did this as I was sorting out the tune for the VVT and whatnot I didnt want to complicate things by doing too many mods at once. So Ive been bombing around in the thing for about a month now and have it running sweet but today i did the MAF swap and holy moly..... no dyno results yet im just toying around my shop by it feels like a completely different machine now its so much faster up top.

Long story short for any of you cam'd L92/LY6 guys I HIGHLY recomend a 4" intake and the LS7 MAF card swap.

Heres the PN's for anyone interested plus pricing from GMpartsdirect

Bung: PN 19166574 and it runs $9.27
LS7 MAF PN: 15865791 and its $55.52

The stock L92 MAF looks just like most MAF's it comes in a plastic housing that you clamp into the intake somewhere and its 3.5" and has a rather big bulge in the middle where the sensors are etc. The LS7 MAF uses a bung that you weld into the pipe itself so there is no actual MAF housing anymore and the MAF is just a card thats ultra thin ( about 1/4" ) that slides into said bung. Plus it has a fast thermistor as well to adjust IAT's more accurately. My engine LOVED this mod wow I cant stress this enough especially after 5000 RPM it just FLIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES now hehe.

Its a cheap mod and certainly wont make it slower.... You just have to re scale the MAF tables and your set
