Anyone running a larger cam like 23x/24x duration in their 6.0/6.2 with stock l92 intake? or did you port the intake (what kind of gains are to be had) or swap to car ls3?

I like the Holley Hi Ram, had one on a truck I sold last year.

Will be doing another one on the L76 I'm building up for the Tahoe.

Will be going large cam also.

I don't have concrete #'s to give you, but it did work very well.

 

There are some gains up top with the LS3 intake, ported even more. Theres a thread on tech with back to back tests of the two and dyno results etc. They arent "big" gains though

 

has anyone tried a ported l92? i saw the ls3 thread awhile back and just the waterpump swap and all seems to much of a head ache for a couple #'s
