It's pretty funny you say that because word for word what the technician told me is "It's the nature of your build and the amount of torque, you're going to have rattles and vibrations".

apparently somewhere along the way someone swapped in a twin turbo big block with out me knowing

Glad to hear the issue was not our headers. Please keep us posted on what you find. Good Luck.

Wow, then my truck should have rattled and vibrated like a ****....

But maybe, just maybe, the noise will disappear at 12 psi. I say try it & find out!

Whenever I had an exhaust rattle this was my culprit... generally would pop up shortly after i had taken down the mid pipes and somethign may have shifted. Again though this was most noticable at idle.

I say no way in hell its the exhaust touching something under torque after watching that video. At 5k rpm for your engine to vibrate enough under load to make a rattle something has to be wrong.

I'm also surprised to see that it does it at such a high speed... you aren't exactly setting the world on fire there, so weight transfer and clearance issues seem unlikely as well.

Also... tell those ******* geniuses that you are barely pushing any more torque than a factory 6.2. What a cop-out on their part. Disgusting.

Yup, no reason to stick with this pulley now that they've already shown they aren't going to take care of the simplest of problems for me.

Dude you took the words out of my mouth, I said I'm hardly making anything more than a 6.2 with headers would be and there's 100s of them floating around this site alone.

It will make the noise still at 75mph! The only thing I could say is possible is that maybe there was something that was really close to rubbing to begin with after they installed the headers... and putting that transmission spacer in caused something to start rubbing.

As far as the dealership goes I just feel like I'm beating my head against the wall every time I talk to the technician, he talks to me as if I'm retarded (actually explained what "under load" means to me.... even though, when I first dropped the truck off to him I told him it only does it under load, pretty ******* insulting)

When it makes the noise, do you hear it? Or do you hear it AND feel it?

Also, does it seem to be in front of you, under you, or behind you(from the driver seat)?

I was telling Pat yesterday, its something you actually feel at your feet. It definitely feels like something under the hood or at the firewall.

I found it odd too that its very hard to recreate the problem in 4wd. I tried like 15 times and maybe did it once and it was ever so slightly.

what was adjusted in your front end to lower the truck? I'm sticking to my guns that its some sort of weight transfer and a rotating part is hitting/rubbing. Most likely a CV axle as I think the drive shaft would have a different tone spinning 3-4x faster than the tires.

Is it MOST noticable when getting hard on the throttle at high speeds or low speeds. You have more weight transfer at low speeds...
