Default Just impulse bought an Ebay 6.2, will it fit in my truck?

I have a 2010 Sierra with the 5.3 and just impulse bought a 2007 Escalade 6.2. Is there a reason the 2007 6.2 will not work? My only plan for the 6.2 is to freshen up the bearings and rings and a mild torque camshaft.

direct swap...6.2 uses a bigger starter but thats it, 5.3 starter will work but will wear out eventually, at least mine did when I did the swap, I recommend doing the CHE Trunion uprgrade as well and replacing the motor mounts while you have easy access to them...Atomic makes some nice looking mounts

2007 to like 2009 will only have VVT. If he's doing the camshaft upgrade it won't really matter I guess.

The key is the tune for making the swap worth it.

I thought about doing he same with my ‘08 Avalanche. Just not ready to stomach the $2700 these turkeys want for a 200,000 mile motor.

The very earliest 2007 L92s had AFM hardware but it was not active in the tune.
