now you guys keep talking about the denali 2wd being faster than awd... now what about a 4x4 extended cab sierra w/ 6.2? Isn't it less weight technically, esp being ext cab? I know the weight will increase a little due to the transfer case.

Crew cab is the only body style that can get the 6.2L...

Great news wasn't like that in 09'. My Denali is getting traded in soon. I want a 2010 6.2L Ext Cab 2wd w/3.73's...If a 2008 AWD Yukon Denali can go 13.2's with full bolt on's an Ext Cab truck could go high 12's (stock motor) with full bolt on's...

how is your 2wd for traction, impaired??
how much t/m removed in your tune.
what cat back do you have

2wd xcab 6.2 would be quick if traction is available.

Just built a LT Model 2010 Silverado Ext Cab 2wd for 33,500 (MSRP). The only option was "max trailering package" which comes with 6.2L, 9.5'' rear w/autolock 3.73's, handling package/towing suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, and fog lights...

I don't see any reason why you couldn't get the dealer down to $28,000 if that's the only option you wanted...about 10k less than I paid for mine back in 07'...

Let's see...Cheaper monthly note by 200 bucks (60 months), 200lbs lighter, better gearing for towing/perfomance (3.73's) bigger injectors with Flex-Fuel (for future mods). Headed to the dealer today!

This motor is not all that fierce off idle you can finesse lauch pretty easy with some practice... I ran 13.87 on stock pizza cutter 18's...

I run 50% Tq mngmt in my shifts everyday, but disbale all together just @ the track, power enrichment wide open...

The 3'' catback was made by CGS it came with a baffled syle muff, I replaced with a str8 through style muff. I have 1 3/4'' AR LT headers and 3.5" Gibson exhaust on the way (str8 through style muff)....going to compare 60' times with 3'' and the 3.5'' after I install headers. Some exhuast companies swear the 6.2L makes more overall power with a single 3'' other companies use 3.5''...we shall see...
