Default How much drop?

I wondering from you guy with drops on the NNBS is 4-7 the best or is 5-7maybe 8?

I have Caddy rims with 265/65/18 rims.

For the front I plan to use Belltech drop shocks, GF spindles, Eibach spring, and Belltech alignment bushings. If I do the 4 inch drop I will omit the Eibach springs.

The rear will get a new mounting perches, a 2 inch drop shackle, matching shocks, and a shortened driveshaft.

I will weld in 1/4 wall steel for the notch, and re-attach the stock bump stop. Then shortly add some helper airbags to get payload back up.

i perfer a 2/3 to 2/3.

A lot do 6/8. Just remember usually the lower you go the bumpier the ride.

I have the 4/6 on my truck and love it. Originally, went with a 2/4, but wasn't low enough. Actually the 4/6 rides better than the 2/4 did...

i had a 2/5

i'm at 4/6.5 now and i'm happy with it.

5/7 if your streets are pretty good. they suck here so i stuck with 4"

also expect alignment issues up front at 5" or be prepared for them.

My streets are pretty good. Don't get me wrong the Los Angeles area does not have the best streets, but they tend to be rough not pot holed.

Also I will purchase the off-set bushings that give 2 degrees more adjustability that I hear can work down to 6 inches in limited cases. A 5 inch drop is what they were designed for.

go for it, it looks nice at 5/7

i know at 4" the lower air dam piece(below the bumper) just bearly clears parking lot markers and curbs. so 5" you might need to be careful not to park so close to the edges.

at a 4" drop up front, my front air dam scraped while going in my driveway and it is pretty flat. I would go 4/7. It looks nice and still is streetable IMO.

I was looking at that kind of drop, and would love to roll that low. But I have to use my truck as a truck quite often. So that might be to low for my needs. Plus some of the crap sites I have to work a 5/7 will be damn low for that so a 7/10 would probaly get me stranded.
