In choosing a cam for our trucks, what are some of the things to look for? I am hearing guys talk about choosing the right cam and me being new to this it is a bit confusing. I am in the market for a new cam kit for my peppy 4.8 as far as mods go, you can look in the signature, but it will be for my DD truck. I am also seeing most guys reving up to over 6k, i didnt think that was possible with our trucks. I want to do this right the first time n not have it blow up on me so i am looking for help. Is it as simple as calling the company and having them reccomend a Cam? Or is there other things to consider. Thanks for your help guys
