looked at studs there $100 more. im sure the bolts will do fine. Ordered the ARP 434-1202 stainless 12 point bolts from Summit. If they send them FedEx i will receive the tuesday. If they go ups then i probably wont see them till friday. ups will hold them just because they have 6 days to deliver them. Fedex ground is 24hrs. I once received a order 12hrs after I ordered them from Summit in OH. I ordered them just befor 6pm and they were delivered befor 7am the next day.

When installing headers does the tuner just turn off the rear o2 sensors or reprogram to work with the hi flow catts? If there just turned off i will want to get plugs to hook in to the wiring harness and remove the rear o2s all together. Just get some junk o2s and cut off the plug remove the wires and silicone the holes to make a watter proof cap and move the harness out of the way.

Here is a link to the torque spec for your bolts you ordered. Also, I always use ARP ultra-torque when im torquing down ARP hardware for accurate readings, it works great. That is up to you though obviously. But with your M8 bolts rated for 170,000PSI tensile strength it looks like your torque value would be 24FTLBS.

These are general specs. The head is aluminum so wouldnt the spec be different between aluminum and iron?

Its just like torquing head bolts into an aluminum block. Most people just go good and tight with header bolts which normally turns into a lot more then what ARP has laid out in most cases.

junk yard pays $75 per cat and I have 3. Thinking whether I should cut the y pipe so I dont have to drop the tranny cross over or keep hole and sell it.

I'd encourage you to sell it whole to a member here who may need it but @ $75 per cat its not hard to see why you may want to go that route lol. Since they retail for 5-600 new I don't think you'd be greedy to ask 2-250 to someone here. Because it terminates in 3.5" it may be of value to someone looking to stay emissions legal but increase flow/exhaust diameter on a 4.8 or 5.3 build. Just thinking out loud really......

I dont know if mine is the federal or ca one. I have 3 cats so id think the ca one but why would the ca one retail for $783 and the fed for $1177 Id sell it for the scrap price to any one that wants it + shipping. I think half price would be fair.
