Default DOD Failure question?

What does a DOD lifter failure sound like on 6.2 LH9 motor?

Can you upload a sound clip?

If it collapsed it'd be a loud knock or clack and that cylinder could end up missing
If it twisted in the bore...I'd imagine that'll be quite loud and grind

Yeah completely understand the noise now!

This is what i found when i went to get a sound clip, guess i gotta find a spark plug wrench at work?

Got to work before it got light.

Who was working on your truck before? Wow haha. Lucky find on it being a plug not a lifter. You need a spark plug SOCKET not a wrench. It'll make life easier. Also don't over tighten the plug!

Did it blow the threads out of the head or did it just slowly find its way out?
