Default Damn you GM

GM changed up pinion bearings on the '09's. 07-08's are the same, but 09's take a bigger bearing. Got the rearend pulled apart, new ring gear bolted on, and went to test fit the pinion bearing race into the diff, and it's 1/2" too small. Not a dealership in town has the part, and the closest place to get it is Michigan at the manufacturing plant What the hell do I do now

I thought about that, but was worried with all the beating it took to get the pinion gear off the bearing might be shot.
