coolant tank

I got rid of my tank completely and just ran a top radiator cap plumbed into the top hose with a overflow can. 100+ degrees down here in south Texas with no issues of overheating or anywhere close to it even with back to back pulls. It's at the highest point in your cooling system so no chance of air pockets or anything like that. I'd say $30-$50 in parts through Jegs or summit give r take and you have all the room you need.

I don't ever have to add to the system it never gets hot and that's with a 16lb coolant cap. Only time I see having to add is if it over heated and puked out the coolant which it never has. Basicly running a system like what's in my colorado and even the new style Camaros.
Same concept... If you follow the hose that's right under the radiator cap it goes to a overflow (expansion) tank on the front passenger corner of the car.
