So, I was repairing my tranny cooler lines the other day and I pulled the radiator shroud to make it a bit easier and I noticed I have an auxiliary tranny cooler plus the truck has the oil cooler that routes through the radiator but also an auxillary oil cooler in front of the radiator. My rpo codes are

KNP- cooling system, trans, hd
KC4-cooling system, hd, engine oil
K5L-heavy duty trailering package
Z82-trailer provisions, special equipment, hd

I know the last 2 codes are common but I haven't seen many half ton 5.3's with an auxillary tranny cooler and I didn't even know there was an auxillary oil cooler option.

 

Mine has the same stuff. It upped towing capacity to 9200 lb iirc.

Yep, mines an lc9 also. I've just never seen it on my friends or myself previous trucks. The thing I wish I had was the factory trailer brakes which I fihured if your going to order all of the other hd stuff then why not that? Oh well though.

 

My lc9 has the same stuff. Then they went and put 3.08 gears on a 4wd crew cab 6 speed... Dumb dumb dumb
