Something is definitely wrong here! I would pull the valve covers and look at your seals.

I like the look of the Elite cans but I'm wondering if I'd like unscrewing the whole bottom of the can verses having a petcock

Are there any pricing breaks for members of this site vs just ordering from SDPC? I had one of his on my Z06 and loved it. Thanks.

IMO being able to screw the bottom of the can off and take a look at whats in there and being able to just dump it out is a lot better than draining threw a petcock.

Well, I ordered the Mike Norris can from SDPC, made it from Texas to Misery (Missouri) in 2 days. Got it installed this afternoon when I got home from work. Definitely a nice piece. I'm going to paint the fittings black, and replace the factory pcv hose with a new 3/8" piece. Don't mind the filth either, everything underhood is getting cleaned up in a couple weeks when the turbo goes on.

I'm pretty sure the top fitting is the inlet. I know it is on my Elite can. The hose should come from the PCV valve in the valve cover to the fitting on the top. It looks like you have it backwards.

The instructions kept referring to cars which the PCV valve is in the passenger valve cover, but here is what it says.

"Using the supplied 3/8" line, cut off enough hose to run from the passenger valve cover or valley cover hose end to the upper fitting on the catch can. Then cut a second piece of 3/8" line to run from the side of the catch can to either the PCV valve still attached to the line to the intake or directly to the fitting on the intake."

Did I interpret it incorrectly?

Edit* Never mind, I clearly see now that I did. Just had to read it again. I'll change the hoses around, good eye.
