Haha, I haven't even been to the dealership...as a joke (kinda) I called them yesterday at lunch and told them I had made up my mind and that if they could locate me a Sheer Silver Metallic 6.2 ECSB with the lowest LT package available I would buy it today.
14 minutes later I got a phone call and they said my truck would be in Mabank this afternoon.
I have never driven one, but have raced against quite a few of them though.

Sheer Silver is a nice color - I believe I prefer it over Silver Birch. Damn sight cooler than black in our TX summers, too! For me - silver has another huge benefit - it doesn't show dirt until it's REALLY filthy, LOL!
I knew you were "Mr. Quick"!

Please take no offense, but "Mr. Quick" is my favorite character, played by one of my favorite actors, from one of my all-time favorite movies - Harlem Nights. If you don't know the movie - look it up on hulu - lotsa funny chit!
You'll quickly fall in love with that 6.2, once it's tuned that is. Engine torque management is a fun KILLER on a stocker 6.2!
Anyway - please feel free to post up some "jedi mind trick" pics ASAP.

Say Kevin - you're buying this new truck raises an interesting question . . .
Which one are you going to bring to Nelson's deal next month?
You'll have five weeks to break 'er in and put a bad-a$$ tune on 'er . . .

Alrighty then . . . can't wait to see them both! Gonna RUN them both?
I suppose that it goes without saying that Allen will be tuning your 6.2?
Feb 26 can't get here soon enough, except I doubt MY junk will be running any better.
PS - are you picking up your '11 today, or tomorrow?

Yeah, they will both be running there.
As soon as I can get some base line stock times done I will getting the truck down to Allen to tune it, he has some hella tunes for these trucks especially the transmissions...
Yes I am picking it up this afternoon some time, all the paper work is done just waiting on the 18 wheeler to show up and unload it...well then they will detail it and fill the tank with gas before I pick it up.
