Default Brake upgrades

Whats available out there for the NNBS' and does anyone have some good results from using them on your truck?

Look for front and rear on a 08 Sierra Denali AWD. Calipers and rotors etc.

The next time I do my brakes I'm thinking of putting EBC rotors and pads in the stock calipers. If I had more money to burn I'd go with a 15" Baer or 16" Wilwood rotors with 6-piston calipers, but that's like 3 grand versus the $300 for the EBC stuff that I'm willing to try just for the hell of it.

On my '07 Tahoe I did the SSBC front kit with stock size rotors to fit in my factory 17's. They have 3 piston calipers and come with slotted rotors, performance pads, and braided stainless lines. It made a big difference and installation was a breeze. Bigger rotors would definitely cut down the stopping distances even more.

I paid $1000 for this kit and it was well worth it. They didn't make anything for the rear that would fit in my 17's so I used powerslot rotors and hawk pads out back.

I have an 01 sierra 1500 z71 running 35 inch tires on a 16 inch wheel. I have been using hawk pads and baer replacement rotors. My rear pads wear faster than the front, and I have a soft pedel since new. with the heavier tires it takes for ever to stop. is there a larger front pad-caliper that will fit under 16 inch wheels with out costing a fortune? Any help from anyone would be great.

Try searching for a thread on swapping in 2005 and up suv brakes. It was on here a while back, but it may require 17's.

On my '07 tahoe up front I did the SSBC big brake kit which is a 14" slotted rotor and caliper relocating bracket along with Hawk ceramic pads, out back being that I have discs I just upgraded the pads to Hawk ceramics. I can honestly say my tahoe stops way better than stock even with heavy *** 33" tires.
